About Me
"In The End, They'll Judge Me Anyway SO Whatever." - Kid Cudi
Born William S. Carter, Jr., I'm originally from Brunswick, Georgia, but I currently reside in the majestic city of Charlotte, North Carolina. I've recently completed my Master of Fine Arts degree from Full Sail University and I have also received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Associate of Science from Coastal Georgia Community College. My interest in writing and editing started at the very beginning of my college career with personal literary entries and developed further through various writing commissions and professional advisements. During my pursuit of higher education, I have attained how to perfect my ability in creating engaging work by exploring the universal historical themes used in traditional storytelling, utilizing visual narrative in terms of structure, character creation, storyboarding elements, script development and editing, and gained a thorough understanding of what constitutes effective writing for multiple media genres. I have been instructed with an emphasis on the importance of research and careful considerations to interpret archetypes and psychological profiles. Through edits and continuous rewrites, I have developed strategies to sharpen context, and, by analyzing content, to objectively critique projects, and resolve structural problems encountered during the creative writing process.
My first love has always been performing arts and my credits include various theatrical productions, television/commercial/film, and independent projects. But, any profession where I can express myself freely would be an ideal job.
